Mapping a File in Autymate | Transactions Follow
Mapping your import files to their associated QuickBooks fields might appear confusing at first, but is simple once you get the hang of it.
What is a "Field Mapping" in Autymate | Transactions?
A field mapping is a link in between the column header in your imported spreadsheet and the specific QuickBooks field in which you desire to automatically populate. Autymate | Transactions identifies the first line of your import file as the column header of your data, so be sure to follow our formatting guidelines found HERE.
How do I know which QuickBooks fields to Use When using Autymate My Transaction's Mapping Tool?
Once you have selected the template of the desired transaction to import data into and find yourself in the Autymate | Transactions mapping interface, all available Quickbooks fields in the template are referred to as the same name of the field item found in QuickBooks online.
The available QuickBooks fields to map to will vary based on the transaction or list type that you have selected. Be sure to double-check that you have selected the right transaction type if you cannot find a field item in the Autymate | Transactions template.
