Having Trouble Accessing Autymate | Transactions? Follow
It is possible to see certain error messages when attempting to log in and use Autymate | Transactions. We would like to explain how this process works which in turn will help to understand what certain error messages mean and what you can do to resolve them.
How is Autymate | Transactions connected to your QuickBooks Company?
In order to add Autymate | Transactions as a useable app through the Intuit store, a user must have at least one of the following user profile types for the associated company's QuickBooks Online file:
• Master Admin
• Company Admin
• QuickBooks Online Accountant User
Master Admin or Company Admin can only add Autymate | Transactions by navigating to “Apps” menu while logged into QuickBooks Online, or by visiting the Autymate | Transactions app landing page directly on the Intuit App Store.
Users with accounts of the status Online Accountant can sign in at Apps.com to begin working with Autymate | Transactions. They can also login to Autymate | Transactions directly and add their client companies that way.
Note: Just because one user of a company has added Autymate | Transactions to his or her QuickBooks Online profile, this does not mean that all other users of that company will have access to it. To allow a new user to access Autymate | Transactions, navigate to the user icon and select User Management to begin adding new users. You can read more on our User Management Guide.
How Connections Work between Autymate | Transactions and QuickBooks Online
When a user connects Autymate | Transactions to his or her QuickBooks Online account, a unique access token is created in order to streamline future access. This token allows Autymate to connect to QuickBooks online user data without the need for an Intuit username or password.
For security reasons, these tokens are not open-ended and do expire from time to time. If your token has expired, you will be asked to reconnect to QuickBooks Online.
You can read more about Open Authentication HERE.
