What do I do when I cannot Connect to QuickBooks Desktop?
Typically the issue is one of two problems,
1) Are you running QBD on a Network Path (has // at the beginning of the file name)? YES | NO
2) Are you using the latest version of QBD? What version are you on? 2022 | 2021 | 2020
Here are some reminders for success in connecting to QuickBooks Desktop
- If your QuickBooks Desktop file is on a network drive we do not support this, please move it to a standard folder on your back office machine. These locations will cause problems with daily integration. See how to move the QBD video or following this guide.
- Make sure you are using the latest QuickBooks desktop version. If you don’t, your functionality could be slower. Need to buy QuickBooks at a Forever discount click here.
