How to fix the error where QuickBooks is running as an admin while the Autymate Desktop app is not?
QuickBooks is running with elevated permissions, which is no longer required. From now on, we have removed the need to run QuickBooks as an admin. Running QBD in admin mode will cause the integration to fail.

First, you may have been told to right-click and run QuickBooks Desktop as an administrator . However, with the latest release, this is no longer required. We removed this requirement because many users had issues remembering to right-click and run as an administrator.
Second, if you made the settings changes to ensure that the desktop icon always ran as an administrator for QuickBooks Desktop, you will need to undo those changes.
- Click the QuickBooks Desktop Icon and hit
- Then hit
- Uncheck the box `Run as administrator
OKand then click ‘OK’ again.
