My QuickBooks keeps freezing when I set this up. I'm currently unable to do anything in the program. What do you do if QuickBooks Desktop is Freezing?
Answer
You will need to close QuickBooks forcefully from the Task Manager.
Here are the steps:
Right-click the taskbar and select Start Task Manager.
Go to the Processes tab and click the Image Name tab.
Select each QuickBooks process individually and click End Process.
Ensure that only QuickBooks processes are terminated, and then close the Task Manager.
Exit out of SmartVault from the system tray.
