How to troubleshoot duplicates in QuickBooks?
Typically we don’t believe that duplicates are our fault unless the user loaded the file two times. So to save time troubleshooting, we ask for the following three things to make sure we have what we need during a session with customer support for duplicate entries in QuickBooks:
- Are you using any other app to push the data in QBD/QBO? Or maybe your team is using SaaSant or TPI without you being aware? Ask them if you are not sure.
- Did you manually upload the file from FRS? Are you sure you got the correct date range because you could have loaded a day Autymate already loaded by mistake? Autymate loads the previous day after the first setup and then every day going forward.
- If duplicates are created not because of the first two points, then:
- Can you show us the duplicate entries in QBD/QBO? Take a screenshot of duplicate entries in QBO/QBD for the dev team to investigate. Unfortunately, we need samples as we cannot access your QuickBooks.
